Viola

That's right, I got a viola for Christmas. It was kind of broken when I got it. At least a piece of it was, so the company sent us a new piece and I fixed it today. I am pretty excited.
I had a good Christmas. It was fun being with my family and just hanging out, playing some Dance Praise and stuff.
I have just been chillaxin around the house, getting some things done. I found a mission trip to Senegal in the summer that seems pretty sweet, so I am probably going to be applying to that, since it is what I was looking for. Speaking of missions, I have been getting back on track with my relationship with God, and that's really nice. I have been having a hard time with it lately. A few months ago I started kind of going downhill, questioning things and focusing on myself. Since then, I have had a couple of periods of working my way back up but it is a slow process. Hopefully this time I can keep my focus on God and stay out of the pit.
I look forward to this weekend. I think my brother and his wife are coming up. Then we are going to spend new years with some cousins and such. After that I am going on a road trip to Chicago. It's going to be pretty sweet, and you should be jealous but not too jealous because I am sure you will have a good time too. Then back to school. woohoo.

If I had a muffin

Yup, I took after my sister and titled this post completely randomly. I am not even hungry, in fact. Although, I suppose writing about the title does not make it completely separate from the post. Anyway,
The semester is over and I did about as well as I hoped. I had an awesome trip to Florida with Alternative Breaks, wrestling alligators, petting tigers, staying at a hostel, eating pineapple, showering outside, etc. If you want to see pictures, you can check out my facebook profile. If you want to know more, you can talk to me about it. If you want to know less, I guess you will just have to forget.
Merry Christmas.

Finals

It's finals week here at CMU. I have not had any finals yet, other than a take-home final that was due today that took way too long to do. It ended up being about 10 pages of writing. I was up until a little after 5 doing that. then I woke up at 9 45 because I thought I should study for my final at 12, but at 11 30 I talked to a friend who informed me my 12 oclock final isn't until thursday. so, I got my other final turned in at 2 and since then have been just hanging out and having fun. Although, during the time I thought I had an exam, I did get some studying for tomorrow's final done. Other than that, Mitch, Derek and I had a snowball fight. then mitch and I made a snowman named ssccg. then Katie came and she, mitch and I had a snowball fight. The snow is perfect today for packing.
After that, I went with Mitch to pick up some stuff from meijer and aunt millie's and then went with Katie to get something at a store downtown and then to meijer to get something mitch forgot to get. then came back and hungout until a wonderful venison steak dinner with baked potatoes, salad, green beans, biscuits, mushrooms and onions. it was wonderful.
then i went and played racquetball for two hours. I did pretty well, and it was fun.
Overall, I have had a wonderful day. I hope you have too.

Oranges

I put my blog on my bookmarks bar right after my siblings's blogs, and so now I check my blog every time I check theirs. And every time I hit the button, I think, what am I doing? I know there won't be a new post, because I am the one who adds posts. Yet, I do it anyway. So I decided to add a new post.
I am about to play racquetball.

Forgetfulness

I am forgetful, so I decided to write a little something something in order that I don't forget about my blog. Plus, I have some exciting news. I got donuts in class today! It was pretty sweet...literally! Yeah, I just wanted to make you all jealous except for katie because she doesn't really like donuts too much.

I am free to run

I decided to start a blog. Today has been strange because I didn't have to work, and I woke up earlier than I normally do on a Wednesday. Thus, I had time that I don't normally have. I spent some time with my house sister Brenna...we went to the Finch computer lab and worked on hw; I got my paper done at that time, this afternoon, rather than 3 am like usual. thus, I don't have to be working on it right now. With that, i have finished 4 papers this week! I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel (sounds like a near-death experience).
Another different thing about today was that we didn't have worship practice or worship Bible study because of something else going on. Instead, I had an Alternative Breaks meeting. That went well and there was food there, so I ate too many cookies and other snacks. After coming home and chilling for about an hour, I had a section meeting with three guys in my section, then went to kaya with Derek, who is in my section and is my roommate, to see On The Rox, a female a cappela group. His cousin and some other people we know are in it.
Alright, so, let's get down to the nitty gritty. it has just been a different wednesday.
So, now I am trying to figure out what to do for a few hours before I go to sleep since I don't have to write my paper. I even read some of the book for my sex class! I don't want to go to bed too early, though, because I am trying to cut down on sleep.
I like Ecclesiastes. I have been reading it lately, and it is pretty good. you should read 7:14. It's great.
